Activity 2 1/18/11 Molecular Masses

List the molecular masses of carbon dioxide, oxygen, and helium. Explain how you get this from the Periodic Table.
             Carbon dioxide: CO2   C=12    O=16  O2=32    12+32=44
                        CO2 = 44
            Oxygen: O2        O=16   O2=32
                        O2=32
            Helium: He = 4
            Water: H2O     H=1    H2= 2       O=16     16+2=18
                        H2O= 18
    I had to use the atomic mass that is found on the periodic table.
